Niamh is an apprentice technician working for Open Eir. She says all students are buddied up with senior technicians for the first 6 month but there is still a lot of problem solving involved. She loves the freedom of 'blended learning' of this course - combining the time out on the road and in collage.

Alan works with Open Eir and is a fibre technician. He likes the TU Dublin classes as they give great confidence on the technical side, he says. Providing new fibre lines to customers, he loves the facct that he learns and works at the same time.
